Melinda Rolader has been involved in the pageant system for 20 years, not only as a competitor, but also as a director and a judge.  She has also been involved in performing arts for 22 years.  Melinda has spent time as a performer and choreographer, as well as a dance teacher.

While in college, she was the director and production manager for the Miss Brenau Scholarship Pageant. Melinda has grown up in the pageant industry, which, she believes, has enhanced her directorship capabilities.  She is an approved judge for the Miss Georgia Scholarship Pageant - a preliminary for Miss America. Melinda is the daughter of LaVerne Rolader, former founder and co-director of the Miss Rabun County Scholarship Pageant.  Because of her experience with the pageant systems, she has developed confidence and leadership qualities that, she believes, will aid in all of her future endeavors. These are the qualities that she feels each young lady will gain from being a part of the Southern Grace Pageant System.

Melinda is a member of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. She has traveled with a team from her church to Kenya, Africa. While in Kenya she worked with the 410bridge organization to build gabion walls and worked at the Havila Children’s Home.
